A 60-page free educational children's book commissioned by the Charlotte Harbor National Estuary Program (CHNEP) in 2008. The story follows different animals as they travel down each of the three rivers feeding into Charlotte Harbor. CHNEP distributed 19,000 copies annually (for free) to elementary schools in seven Florida counties from 2008 to 2016. The book is available electronically with English and Spanish versions and a read-along video series featuring the author. Teachers continue to incorporate the book into their lessons about Florida's natural environment.

A 128-page chapter book written by Sara Owen and published by Sweetgrass Books in 2020. I co-illustrated the book along with Heidi Anderson. The story follows Seth as he is magically transformed to the size of his new friend Mattie the mayfly nymph. Mattie takes Seth on an underwater adventure to meet all the different aquatic invertebrates living in the river, learning interesting facts about them along the way. The book ends with scientific illustrations of each non-human character by Terri Moore, accompanied by a short ecology of each creature.Â
